C-DAC to launch ONAMA Cluster Solutions for academic and research institutions

Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) will be launching its Open Source based High Performance Computing (HPC) Cluster Solution with relevant domain specific applications called ONAMA to help promote promoting high-end research at the academic level.

It has been specially designed and packaged for premier academic and research institutions to proliferate HPC into the educational curriculum at the nascent stage, thereby promoting highend research at the academic level," Director General, C-DAC Rajan T Joseph told reporters.

This HPC cluster solution will be launched on Saturday, November 14 '09, at the one day Technology Symposium on `High Performance Computing in Academia and Beyond' for Engineering faculty organized by the Department of Computer Engineering and IT, College of Engineering, Pune and C-DAC. Read More
