First Nano to roll out from Pune in early December

Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi may have successfully wooed Tata Motors chairman Ratan Tata to set up the Rs. 1,500-crore small car project in his state, but the first bunch of cars will be rolled out from Tata's Pune plant in early December.

A day before Ratan Tata signed an agreement with the Modi government, Deshmukh (chief minister of Maharashtra) had a meeting with Tata officials. Certain lands near Aurangabad and Ahmadnagar were shown to them, but they did not agree with the proposals. "They were keen on lands near Pune, but we have no land there now,'' he added.
